Afghan Tribal Pendant handcrafted by tribal jewelry artisans of 0.9  Silver and Lapis Lazuli. Artisan's hallmark signed on back (see images). The pattern is traditional Khazaki using granulation technique and Gold Wash over silver. Used for centuries in fine silverwork, the granulation technique requires artisans to fuse small pieces of silver into an intricate pattern. These patterns created are often unique to certain tribes - such as in this case where the patterns are typical of Turkoman Khazaki Tribal Jewelry.
