Beautifully handmade Afghan Turkmen Vintage Hair Clip with classic bird, floral and bell fringe designs. All beads and patina intact. This large hair clip has a barrette clasp on the bottom and a hook on top for securing to the hair. Large Ornate Hairclips like these were often worn on the back of head...the Turkmen are one of the few Tribal groups to decorate the back of the body as elaborately as they do the front. Gorgeous handcrafted vintage piece.
