Each of the substantial silver hoops is ornately embellished with stylized flower bud. The buds are stylized poppy or mango blossoms, both important food plants in theTurkmen diet. The poppy blossom and mango designs are found in many art forms throughout the Turkmen Tribal world, especially in Afghanistan, where these wonderful old Turkmen Tribal Earrings were handcrafted.
