The eye shaped red glass beads sit in raised silver bezels...wearing red is believed to invigorate and strengthen the wearer because it resembles the color of the life-giving blood in our veins. The eye shape of the silver bezels are also believed to protect against any evil eye or harmful energy directed towards the wearer.
