Dramatic and infinitely Tribal. This wonderful Old Turkmen Tribal Jewelry Headpiece (Ghashbagh) is in excellent condition ready for wear or adding to your collection of Turkmen Tribal Jewelry. Unusually lavish double row of beaded pendants across forehead. Thread a chain, ribbon or cord through the two hooks on either side of the side chains to secure in place. Can be worn alone, or under/over veils or caps. Classic red beads, all intact. Cascading pendants along the sides are in the shape of Adamlyks (stylized female form). Ersari Turkmen. Approximately 50 years old.
