This stunning pair of of Large Antique Turkmen Tekke Tribal Temple Pendants (Tenechir) were worn on either side of the face along the temples. The unique goldwash (gilded) design is one of the more unusual and sought after patterns in old Turkmen Tribal Jewelry. Tenechir pendants frame and accentuate the face while moving and jangling with every step. Each pendant has a hooked bail for attaching to head pieces, hair braids, or scarves in the traditional way.
Turkmen Tribal Jewelry is known for being large and dramatic, like these gorgeous Tekke tenechir temple pendants.
