This amazing vintage Tribal Pectoral Necklace is from the Kuchi Turkoman Tribe. Tribal Pectorals are worn so that they rest completely on the chest, with the ends threaded on your favoite chains or cording suspended from the neck. Because they are displayed on the upper part of the chest, they became known as "Pectorals".  This Necklace dates from the mid-1900's and is excellent condition with great patina.
