Turkmen Kazakh Tribal Jewellery Earrings - Handcrafted in Fine Silver
Gorgeous Tribal Earrings of classic Kazakh design. Handcrafted using the ancient granulation technique .. where tiny pieces of silver are fused to the silver base, creating an elaborate traditional design. These beautiful earrings have silver granulation in the shape of repeating triangles, traditional patterns in Turkman Tribal Jewelry from Kazakistan. The triangle represents all things feminine, giving these earrings added symbolism. Even the arrow-point ends (often associated with male qualities) is shaped as a 3-pointed pyramid, again reflecting feminine qualities. These beautifully contemporary earrings are 3-dimensional, created by dapping or hammering the metal to form a hollow shape. Exquisitely handcrafted by Afghan Tribal Jewellery artisans living in Peshawar.
