Turkmen Tribal Jewelry Large Forehead Ildergich
This elaborate large headpiece is an Ildergich - a form of Traditional Turkmen Headpiece Jewellery that is worn on the forehead or on caps. The Turkmen are renown for embellishing their heads with various forms of elaborate jewelry - and the Ildergich (Ildirqich) is an extremely beautiful one that goes back for centuries. This contemporary piece is handcrafted in quality metal, with traditional gilded patterns and rugged red beads in raised bezels, capturing the essence of ancient Turkmen Tribal Jewelry at a fraction of the cost. Small hooks at each end can be used for attaching ribbons or chains, or for fastening directly to the hair, veils, caps, or other headwear.
